Using Face Gestures

Modified on Mon, 14 Sep at 3:54 PM

Face Gestures, included with an active forScore Pro subscription or pass, lets you turn pages by winking, moving your head to the left or right, or moving your lips to the left or right. To activate Face Gestures, double tap the center of the page to show the Display Options overlay (or press the icon on the left-hand side of the title view) and then tap the face icon to turn this feature on or off. If the button's background is white, Face Gestures are active. You can tap and hold this button to quickly switch modes at any time.

To configure this feature, tap the center of the screen to show the navigation bar if necessary and then tap the toolbox icon in the top right-hand corner. Choose "Settings" then "forScore Pro" and finally "Face gestures." Here you'll be able to change settings to better suit your needs, and you can use the indicators at the bottom of the "Calibration" section to practice with live feedback.

If you've selected the "Mouth movement" mode, you'll also be able to calibrate its sensitivity for more comfortable page turns. Use the guided "Calibrate..." function or adjust the left/right sliders manually to better suit your needs.
